You can use VitaBirr for your everyday payments and money management needs without the need to carry cash. With VitaBirr, you can: • Deposit and withdraw money through authorized VitaBirr agents. • Send and receive money easily. • Buy airtime and mobile packages. • Pay for goods and services at merchants using digital payments. • Receive payments from customers or businesses. • Access additional digital financial services conveniently from your mobile phone.

VitaBirr is available to eligible mobile subscribers who meet the registration requirements. To use VitaBirr, customers must: • Be an active subscriber of Ethio Telecom or Safaricom Ethiopia mobile services. • Be 18 years of age or above. • Have a valid mobile number and provide the required identification documents and personal information during registration.

You can register for VitaBirr easily through any of the following options: 1. Through an authorized VitaBirr agent: Visit the nearest authorized VitaBirr agent. Provide your active mobile number and valid identification document. Complete the registration process with the assistance of the agent. 2. Through the VitaBirr mobile app: Download the VitaBirr app from the Google Play Store or App Store. Register using your mobile number and follow the instructions. Complete your profile by providing the required KYC information, including identification documents and a recent photo. 3. Through USSD: Dial *6599# and follow the registration instructions. Transaction and account limits will apply based on your customer verification level and applicable National Bank of Ethiopia regulations.

Yes, you may register for multiple VitaBirr accounts using different mobile numbers, subject to applicable registration requirements. Each account will have its own balance and transaction limits, which will be applied according to the applicable National Bank of Ethiopia regulations.

You can deposit and withdraw money from your VitaBirr account through convenient channels. To deposit money: • Visit any authorized VitaBirr agent and deposit cash into your wallet. • Transfer money from your linked bank account (where applicable). To withdraw money: • Visit a nearby authorized VitaBirr agent. • Use the VitaBirr mobile app or USSD service to initiate a cash withdrawal. • Provide the required transaction details and confirm using your PIN. • The agent will provide you with cash after completing the transaction.
